Hold On!

Tonight I was listening to a song called Hold On by a group called The Greenes.

It talks about when you can't take it anymore to just hold on through every storm, walk by faith not sight, hold on. Prayer after prayer still there's no way out and it seems like pain is all you gain, hold on, hold on through every storm hold on, even in the darkest night walk by faith not sight, hold on, hold on. There is a father who is waiting to hold you with open arms until the hurt is gone. Through every storm hold on.

In the weeks before the Kenya trip I listened to this song every day sometimes a few times a day and I would cry as I listened to it. I would listen to it and just hang on to every word of it. Tonight I could listen to it and just enjoy it because it is a good song. God reminded me of the difference in the way I was able to listen to it tonight as compared to before the Kenya trip or before the Florida ladies entered my life. It was a joyful and freeing feeling as I listened to it tonight...
